Gamified eLearning

Vision Zero is an initiative aimed at making Auckland’s roads safer, reducing the number of deaths and serious injuries to zero. There are four key pillars to its success; Safe Road, Safe Speeds, Safe Vehicles and Safe Road use.

This micro-module formed part of a much larger blended programme of work, including more in-depth eLearning modules, videos and face-to-face workshops, all supporting a wider Vision Zero message. 

The module focuses on Safe Speed, with the simple message that reducing speed reduces the likelihood and the severity of crashes. However, the stakeholders wanted to avoid doom and gloom or shock factor so we created a fun, engaging, gamified eLearning experience to convey a serious message in a memorable way.
